As it can be seen MSN Messenger and MSN Hotmail appear all the time. This is because whenever I go on the internet I always have MSN messenger on as a running programme so I can chat to my friends whilst doing my work or play on the net. This week was busy as it was a c/w finish week and revision was just beginning.
Week 2
This week was closer to the exams so there were only really three things I used the computer for: MSN Messenger, MSN Hotmail and BBC Bitesize. This was a more boring week but you did want an accurate analysis of my computer use!!!
During the time of this analysis I had an older Windows ME computer with very little RAM and ROM, only 17GB, so things like music, pictures and films overloaded my computer so I never used them. Now I have got a new PC, Windows Vista with 250GB, so now I’m doing a lot more with pictures and music as I have the memory to cope with them. This means that now, especially as my exams have now finished, the week would be more revolved around the leisure use of a PC like gaming, music and watching films. I have now also got broadband whereas before I only had dial up which made the use of the internet slow and difficult.
